Bus crash closes Coquihalla north of Hope

HOPE, B.C. — Update: The highway has reopened, but a lane closure is in effect at Mine Creek.

EARLIER:

First responders have been called to the scene of a major crash involving a bus north of Hope, B.C.

Drive BC has confirmed the Coquihalla Highway is closed due to a vehicle incident at Mine Creek. Estimated time of reopening is 1 p.m.

Drivers are advised to take an alternate routes via Highway 1 and Highway 3.
