Groundhogs on different pages this morning

TORONTO — Prognosticating rodents across North America were not on the same page this morning.

Nova Scotia’s famed Shubenacadie  Sam did not see his shadow when he waddled out of his pen, which folklore says indicates an early spring.

Pennsylvania’s Punxsutawney  Phil did see his shadow this morning on Gobbler’s Knob.

Ontario’s Wiarton Willie was the tie-breaker and sided with Phil, predicting six more weeks of winter.
