KAMLOOPS — Mounties are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a knifepoint robbery in Chase — the third robbery to hit the community in the past 10 days.

Chase RCMP Cpl. Scott Linklater says it occurred Wednesday night at around 7:30 p.m. at the PharmaChoice Food and Drug.

“An unknown male entered the store, brandished a knife and demanded money from the clerk,” he says. “After receiving the money, the suspect left on a bicycle travelling westbound on Shuswap Avenue. The clerk was shaken from the incident but uninjured.”

Linklater describes the suspect as white, about 5’8″ and of average build. He was wearing a grey hoodie, jeans and a blue bandana covering his face.
