WolfPack women’s basketball opens up trip to Langley with setback

LANGLEY, B.C. — The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s basketball are still looking to taste sweet victory in the calendar year 2018.

TRU dropped its fifth straight game in Canada West action as they fell to the number 10 ranked Trinity Western Spartans in Langley, BC on Friday (Jan 26).  The score was 80-49.

Kayla Gordon (Prince George, B.C.) officially became TWU’s all-time career points leader as she earned the first two points of the game and finished the night with 14 points for a now program-leading 1,126 points. Gordon surpassed Spartan alum Holly Strom who had 1,112 career points.
