KAMLOOPS —Western Canada Theatre is turning up the heat with its rendition of ‘The Birds and the Bees.’

This ‘sexy’ modern comedy is proving to be a hit with critics and audiences alike.

The play centres around a mother named Gail – who is a beekeeper with too much work on her plate – and her daughter Sarah – who has recently moved back home after getting divorced.

Their lives are complicated by their neighbour Earl – a turkey farmer – who has an overcharged libido. And to that is the handsome but innocent Ben – who is a student researching the bees on the property. This laugh-out loud comedy will keep audiences entertained from start to finish – and is sure to heat up our chilly winter needs.

‘Birds and the Bees’ plays now through February 3 at the Sagebrush Theatre. Tickets  can be purchased at Kamloopslive.com.
