Stolen gas card leads to over $5K in charges

KAMLOOPS β€” A stolen gas card has led to a hefty gas bill for an unlucky company in the Kamloops area.

Kamloops Crime Stoppers says sometime between Jan. 10-15, a man allegedly used a stolen company gas card in Kamloops and Barriere to buy over $5000 worth of fuel.

β€œThe suspect would use two card locks at various different times to fill his truck up. The suspect was driving a dark grey Ford F350 double cab extended box with a large water tank and spare tires in the back.”

The male suspect is described as white, with a graying beard, wearing a ball cap, camo jacket, black pants and work boots.
