Shots fired complaint leads to arrests in Williams Lake
KAMLOOPS — Two people were arrested and another five detained following a shots fired complaint in Williams Lake over the weekend.
Williams Lake RCMP Cst. Andrew Waters says just after 8:00 p.m. on Jan. 20, police responded to multiple reports of gunshots in the 1600-block of Broadway Avenue South.
“A search warrant was obtained for the residence, and a firearm and ammunition were recovered.”
21 year old Lane Don Cooper has been charged with mutliple offences including carrying a prohibited weapon. He remains in custody until his next court date Jan. 31.
