KELOWNA — Three men accused of killing an Alberta man near Hope last year have appeared in court in Kelowna, charged with first-degree murder.

Twenty-year-old Michael Bonin’s body was found on a rural forest service road north of Hope last April.

After a nine month investigation, 26-six-year-old Ryan Watt, 20-year-old Joshua Fleurant and 27-year-old Jared Jorgenson were arrested over the weekend.

While Fleurant is most recently from Prince George, he has spent time in Kelowna with family.
