Falkland break and enter turns violent

FALKLAND — A break and enter in Falkland yesterday turned violent.

RCMP were called just before 3 pm to a home on a rural property after the homeowner interrupted a break in.

Police say as the man attempted to chase the intruders from the property he was shot in one of his legs.

Police have not said what his condition is this morning.

The say the residence is the site of a licenced medical marijuana grow operation.

No other details have been released and we haven't been told if anyone is in custody.
