Blazers drop early lead in 5-4 loss to Royals

VICTORIA, B.C. — The Kamloops Blazers were up 3-0 early in the first period, losing momentum to fall to the Royals 5-4 in Victoria last night. 

Victoria had two first period goals and one more in the second to tie the game up at 3-3 going into the third period.

Jermaine Loewen started the scoring for the Blazers, Joe Gatenby, Brodi Stuart, and Luc Smith also added goals for Kamloops. 

The Blazers’ next game is Tuesday at home against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
