KAMLOOPS — Crown Counsel has now approved an attempted murder charge against a young Kamloops woman for her part in a house fire in Aberdeen last May.

19 year old Megan Medos is facing charges after the small fire on Dunbar Drive May 14.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie of Kamloops RCMP says Kamloops Fire Rescue was called to the home just after 5:00 a.m. that day, extinguishing a small fire.

No one was hurt in the blaze.
