Kamloops’ Thompson advances to B.C. Scotties final

KAMLOOPS — Karla Thompson from Kamloops will face Nanaimo’s Kesa Van Osch in the B.C. Scotties curling final at 4pm today in Victoria.  Thompson defeated Corryn Brown, also from Kamloops, 5-3 in the semi final.    Trailing 3-2 Thompson, the 2016 provincial champion, scored two in the 9th end and a steal of one in ten.    The winner between Thompson and Van Osch will represent B.C. at next months Scotties Canadian championship in Penticton.
