WolfPack sweep Vikes on road in Men’s Basketball

VICTORIA, BC—The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack are leaving Vancouver Island with a pair of Canada West men’s basketball victories. After taking the host University of Victoria Vikes 86-82 in overtime on Friday (Jan 5), the Pack outscored the Viks 28-19 in the final quarter and came away with an 81-77 win on Saturday (Jan 6).

Joe Davis (3rd year, forward, Kamloops, BC) led the way for the WolfPack with 29 points as TRU evened their regular season record at .500 (7-7).  Victoria falls to 6-6.

TRU trailed 37-34 at the half after leading 20-15 after the opening quarter.
