Kamloops rinks to meet in B.C. Scotties semi final

KAMLOOPS — There will be a Kamloops rink in the final to decide the B.C. women’s curling champion.

Karla Thompson and Corryn Brown, both from Kamloops, will meet tomorrow morning in a semi final.

Thompson, who finished first in the round robin, lost 10-4 to Kesa Van Osch in the one-two page playoff, sending the Nanaimo rink to Sunday afternoon’s final.

In the three-four game Brown was a 7-6 winner over Diane Gushulak.
