KAMLOOPS — Police still haven't released much information following a shooting Friday night in a South Shore apartment building.

Just before 10:00 PM that evening, police were called to the building at 110 Columbia Street.

One man had reported being shot in the leg.

Traffic was blocked off for at least two blocks in all directions while the police dealt with the issue, which apparently involved two people in one of the units.

A small fire was also reported, which was handled by Kamloops Fire and Rescue.

Two people were arrested when it was all over Saturday morning, but other than those facts, police have released no details regarding the incident itself.
