KELOWNA —  More than 70 people braved freezing temperatures to attend a vigil in Kelowna last night, honouring the mother and two young girls found murdered in their Rutland home just before Christmas.

The bodies of Clara Forman and her daughters Karina and Yesenia, were found December 19th.

Vigil organizer Vicky Belteton says she didn’t know the victims but she did not want the three to be forgotten.

Jacob Forman — Clara’s husband and the father of the two girls — was arrested shortly after the bodies were found and remains in custody awaiting his next court date in early January, charged with three counts of second degree murder.
