Pee Wee Blazers in playoff round at Pat Quinn Classic

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops pee wee Blazers have qualified for the championship playoff round at the Pat Quinn Classic in Burnaby.

After starting the tournament with a loss, the Blazers won their next three, clinching a playoff berth with a 2-1 win over the North Shore Winter Club last night.

After spotting North Shore a first period goal, Reggie Newman and Jaxsen Vaughn scored a minute and 16 seconds apart for the Blazers in the second period.

The Blazers will play Seafair this morning in a quarter-final.
