Blazers lose in a shootout in Kelowna

KAMLOOPS — The Blazers returned from their 10-day Christmas break with a 2-1 shootout loss to the Kelowna Rockets.

James Porter made 46 saves through 65 minutes, then stopped all four shooters in the shooutout to lift the Rockets over Kamloops.

Kole Lind scored in regulation for Kelowna (21-11-3) before Liam Kindree added the shootout winner.
