KAMLOOPS — It was the "best Christmas ever" for a Vernon man.

This after 32 year old Devin Cooper, who works for a snow removal company, won a $1 million Maxmillions prize on the December 22 Lotto Max Draw.

"I was kind of freaking out when I saw that I had matched all seven numbers," he says, noting he had to wait a few days before claiming his prize. "I was dancing around my apartment all weekend!"

Cooper plans to invest his winnings in real estate, by buying a new vehicle and by celebrating with his family over dinner and enjoying some holiday cheer.
