Wallet thief goes on shopping spree at Kamloops gas station

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Crime Stoppers is looking for the public's help in locating a wallet thief.

The alleged theft occurred during the evening hours of November 23 or early morning hours of November 24 when a vehicle was broken into and a wallet was stolen.

"The next morning, November 24, a culprit in possession of the stolen credit card used it to purchase items from the Petro Canada store on Rogers Way."

The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • In his 20s
  • Dark hair
  • Wearing a black t-shirt over a green/brown hoodie, denim jeans
  • Black and white high top Nike running shoes and a red backpack
