KAMLOOPS — This season has been a struggle for the Kamloops Storm, but they're going into their Christmas break on a high following back-to-back wins over the Sicamous Eagles.

On Saturday Yewta Plamondon scored twice and set up another goal in a 5-2 win.

Last night the Storm downed the Eagles 6-3 with Plamondon and Curtis Magas each scoring twice.

Plamondon also picked up another assist for a six point weekend.

The Storm remain in fourth place in the Birks Division, 14 points ahead of last place Sicamous and seven behind third place 100 Mile House.

The Chase Heat had one game on the weekend, a 5-3 win over Kelowna.

Chase has two games left before Christmas --- at Sicamous tomorrow night and then hosting 100 Mile House on Friday.

Next game for the Storm is December 31 in Revelstoke.
