KAMLOOPS — A road block took a turn of events Saturday night after two men fled from their vehicle.

Kamloops RCMP Constable Mike Scherpenisse says police were conducting a road block on Seymour Street just after 8:30 p.m. when officers noticed a vehicle turning around near the BCLC building.

The vehicle took off at a high speed driving the wrong way on Seymour until coming to a dead end.

Two men fled from the car but with the help of a passing motorist and police dog officers located and arrested one of the men a short distance away.
