Vernon armed robbery suspect at large

VERNON, B.C. — RCMP are looking for a suspect after a armed robbery at a Vernon business.

A man entered the Shell Gas Station on Okanagan Landing Road Tuesday night around 8:30 and demanded money from the employee.

The suspect produced what was believed to be a firearm, and fled on foot.

Police are looking for a Caucasian male, 30 to 40 years old, who was wearing all black clothing and a black mask concealing his face.

The employee wasn’t physically injured during the incident.

“The RCMP continue to investigate and seek the public’s assistance in identifying their suspect,” says Cst. Kelly Brett.
