Blazers score late to edge Thunderbirds

KAMLOOPS — The Blazers pulled out a late 4-3 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds to move into sole possession of fourth place in the B.C. Division.  

Jermaine Loewen came off the bench on a line change to score the game winner with 29 seconds left in the third period.

Garrett Pilon, Carson Denomie and Ondrej Vala had the other Blazers goals.

It was the Blazers fifth straight win and 12th in sixteen games to move them two points ahead of Prince George and to within two points of third place Vancouver.
