KAMLOOPS — Scott Mahovlich could have a chance to play for the Memorial Cup next May ---- but not with the Blazers.

They've traded Mahovlich to the Regina Pats for a 7th round bantam draft pick.

In 62 career games over two seasons the 18-year old forward from Abbotsford had a goal and five assists.

Mahovlich had appeared in 14 of the Blazers 24 games this season, with one assist.

The Regina Pats will be the Memorial Cup host team next spring.

Blazers win streak ends in loss to Everett
