KAMLOOPS — BC Transit and its partners are seeking public feedback on the new transit service that will be connecting with Sun Rivers and the Tk’emlups Reserve.

Open houses have been scheduled for Monday, Dec. 4 at Sun Rivers at Hoodoos Restaurant from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the next day at Moccasin Square Gardens from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. An online survey is also available by visiting this website until Dec. 11.

The proposed new route will serve Sun Rivers, then the Tk’emlups Reserve and Sun Rivers again on the return trip, before heading to the Lansdowne Transit Exchange where customers can transfer to other routes.

“We are excited to go out and talk to the public about our proposed plans and the most important thing out of this is to gather their feedback,” says BC Transit Communications Manager Jonathon Dyck. “So, what we want to know is if this new routing will work for them, if it’s something they think will be attractive… if there’s any feedback, this is the time to provide it because this is how we go about making tweaks to the service.”
