KAMLOOPS — British Columbians can now provide their input into next year’s provincial referendum on electoral reform.

The Province has launched a public engagement process called How We Vote and people can visit engage.gov.bc.ca/HowWeVote through Feb. 28, 2018.

While on the website, residents can learn about the characteristics of voting systems used here and elsewhere in the world, provide input on key elements of the referendum including ballot system, choice of voting systems and public funding distribution during the referendum campaign period.

Once the public engagement period is complete, the Ministry of the Attorney General will prepare a report with recommendations.
