Environment Canada says there is a risk of freezing rain over the highway passes.

A warm front will move across the Southern Interior today.

Precipitation over the highway passes will start as snow and change to rain late in the day as the freezing levels rise.

This warm front will also bring the risk of freezing rain today and this evening, which could result in icy road conditions.

As weather in the mountains can change suddenly, that can result in hazardous driving conditions.

Road conditions are available here.
