KAMLOOPS — Kamloops residents interested in talking about how poverty can be reduced in their community are invited to participate in an upcoming community meeting.

Poverty Reduction Strategy community meetings kick off in Victoria next week and will be held around the province through to the end of March.

The Kamloops meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 18, though the government says the location and time of the event will be released closer to the meeting date.

Those unable to attend can share their views online by clicking here or by sending an email to BCPovertyReduction@gov.bc.ca.
