VICTORIA —    Premier John Horgan will hold his first official bilateral meeting with Washington Governor Jay Inslee in Victoria today.

Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain pipeline expansion could be on the agenda as four indigenous tribes in Washington oppose the project.

The U-S tribes told the National Energy Board last year they were concerned about oil spills and impacts to fishing and orcas in coastal waters.

Horgan’s government participated in a legal challenge of the 7.4 billion dollar project last month.
