KAMLOOPS — A large C-130 Hercules aircraft has been spotted by a number of Kamloops residents today, circling above Batchelor Heights.

Airport Manager Heather McCarley says the Canadian Forces aircraft is just visiting the city, not here for any particular purpose.

However, one CFJC Today reader noticed the plane dropping parachuters into the hills, perhaps a part of some sort of exercise.
