Firearms incident in Brock sends man to hospital

KAMLOOPS —  Kamloops RCMP are investigating a firearms incident at an apartment complex in Brock.

Sgt. Michel Grondin says police were called out to 805 Holt Street at 10:15 a.m. Saturday

Upon arrival they found a 24-year-old man who had been shot in one of the suites.

A man and woman both in their 40s were arrested on scene and taken into custody.

Grondin says they are cooperating in the investigation.

Police couldn't provide specifics on the incident but said the man didn't suffer a significant injury.

He was sent to Royal Inland Hospital for assessment and has since been released.

Alcohol and drugs aren't believed to be factors in the incident.
