KAMLOOPS — Recovery managers have been hired to support areas impacted by this summer’s wildfire disaster in the Cariboo.

The hires were made by the Cariboo Regional District and the municipalities of 100 Mile House, Williams Lake, Quesnel and Wells.

The CRD says the managers “will work to collect and coordinate information on recovery resources, connect residents to those resources and learn more about the economic and social impacts facing the region and its residents going forward.”

They will be attending many of the CRD Wildfire Community Consultations to gain a sense of the current situation. For a full list of those meetings click here.
