KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP have confirmed Friday's suspect shooter was on drugs during the incident.

RCMP arrested a 35-year-old Kamloops man early Saturday morning following a lengthy high-risk pursuit on the Tkumlups Indian Reserve that ended at the nearby G & M Trailer Park.

Superintendent Brad Mueller says while the man doesn't have a lengthy criminal record he is known to police.

"He has many unrelated charges before the courts," said Mueller. "He was recently arrested and brought before the courts and was on Judicial Interim Release with numerous conditions at the time of the offence."

The man is facing an array of potential serious charges

His first court appearance is Monday.

Potential for snow mid week
