ASHCROFT, B.C. — Authorities are suspending the search for a Prince George woman believed to be missing in the Ashcroft area.

61 year old Jenny Lynn Larocque was reported missing on October 3.

Her vehicle and her dog were found in the Venables Valley area south of Ashcroft about 12 days later.

RCMP searchers joined Kamloops Search and Rescue volunteers in an exhaustive search for any sign of Larocque, but now say no further information was gleaned.

Investigators say they have no reason to believe Larocque met with foul play, and say the search will be suspended until new information or evidence comes to light.
