KAMLOOPS — David Pitts of Kamloops has one million reasons to be happy.

This after he won the $1 million Guaranteed Prize on the Oct. 7 Lotto 6/49 draw.

He purchased the winning ticket at the Dallas Park Store in Kamloops.

"I was at the store checking my ticket," recalled Pitts. "When the screen flashed $1 million, people in the store started to hug me and one woman even asked to kiss me!."

So, what does Pitts plan to do with his winnings?

"I'm going to put some money aside for retirement and travelling," smiled Pitts. "I'm then taking my time to think about what I need and want."
