KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue crews are working to extinguish a fire in a large pile of garbage downtown this morning.

According to reports, the fire started while the load of trash was inside a garbage truck.

The driver then dumped in the parking lot adjacent to Value Village, in the 400-block of Seymour Street.
