KAMLOOPS — Western Canada Theatre is excited to present its latest production, a musical inspired by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.

"Million Dollar Quartet" is based on a real event which occurred in December of 1956 when these four icons of rock and roll converged on Sun Records for a fateful recording session.

The joining of these four legendary musicians resulted in the creation of rock and roll history. The production is inpired by what is considered the greatest jam session of all time.

The backbone of this show is terrific music but it's also about the lives of these four great musical artists.

The four actors in the production, who are all talented musicians, had to re-work the way they play music in order to capture the essence of their characters. It's being called a high energy performance that gets the audience out of their chairs and dancing.

Proposed dome would allow for year-round sporting events in Kamloops
