KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers will honour the hard work of wildfire volunteers with a free ticket to their home date next Wednesday versus division rivals the Prince George Cougars.

“We are very fortunate to have so many willing volunteers in our community that stepped up during the summer for those that were affected by the B.C. wildfires.” commented President and COO, Don Moores. “This is a small token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication during a difficult time for our province.”

The Blazers will recognize the volunteers during a stoppage in play.

Tickets can be picked up at the Volunteer Kamloops office at 705 Seymour Street from noon to 4 p.m. today, or next Tuesday or Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call Volunteer Kamloops at 250-372-8313 or email them at info@volunteerkamloops.ca for more information.
