KAMLOOPS — More signs B.C's wildfire season is nearing its end.

As of noon Wednesday, the only area restriction in place is the one around the Elephant Hill wildfire.

The Cariboo Fire Centre says all other area restrictions around wildfires in the Cariboo region have been rescinded due to a return to seasonal weather conditions and reduced fire activity.

Fire officials are reminding the public that fire suppression efforts continue.

Hunters and recreationalists are urged to use extreme caution in areas where fires are still burning.
