KAMLOOPS — Both the Kamloops Storm and Chase Heat were on the losing end in the KIJHL last night.

Storm kept it interesting for 20 minutes, then gave up 4-second period goals and 3 more in the third on their way to a 10-2 shellacking at the hands of the Kelowna Chiefs.

Storm got the first goal of the game on the power play but were never in it after that.

In Chase, the Heat surrendered two goals in each period as they dropped a 6-3 decision to the Revelstoke Grizzlies. Colton Nikiforuk had a goal and an assist for Chase.
