KAMLOOPS — More good news on the wildfire front. Evacuation orders for Pressy Lake, Little Pressy Lake, Hihium Lake and Young Lake will be rescinded as of 2:00 PM Saturday afternoon.

The TNRD's Emergency Operations Centre says there will be a re-entry meeting in 70 Mile at 12:30 PM prior to the order being lifted.

EOC spokesman Debbie Sell says while the Elephant Hill wildfire remains active in some areas, the imminent threat has diminished in the areas where the order is being lifted, and downgraded to an alert.

Tomorrow's re-entry meeting will be held at the 70 Mile House Community Hall, and is open to residents recently returned to their homes in the South Green Lake area as well as those returning this weekend.
