KAMLOOPS — The shelves are stocked once again at the Kamloops Food Bank.

49-thousand pounds of food was collected in Saturday’s Fall Rotary Food Drive.

Rotary members, the WolfPack running team, cadets, numerous business groups and dozens of volunteers scoured the city collecting yellow bags off resident’s porches stuffed with non-perishable food items to go towards feeding the city’s low-income residents.

Food Bank Executive Director Bernadette Siracky says this year’s collection was by far the fastest.
