KAMLOOPS — They rolled into town loudly, much like their namesake. The Rolling Barrage Ride Across Canada made their way into Kamloops Friday evening, after beginning their day in Jasper. The ride began August 5th in St. Johns, Newfoundland and has covered the thousands of kilometres in between since. All in the name of combatting Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The ride is the brainchild of Scott Casey, Canadian Forces veteran, and founder of Military Minds Inc., a group that connects its members to services which help them overcome PTSD. Casey says the ride has raised over $26,000 so far, and the funds will go to helping families overcome the devastating effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Operational Stress which can be a result of working in the military, or as a first responder.
