Nominations open for Kamloops byelection

KAMLOOPS — Today is the first day for official nominations for the September 30th byelection. 
The City has just published the guidelines for the nomination processes. Electors will vote for a mayor and two councillors. 
The nomination period starts at 9:00 AM this morning and runs until 4:00 PM August 25th. 
Documents are available at City Hall during regular business hours. 
The City’s twitter feed advises potential candidates to call 250-828-3546 to schedule an appointment to file papers before August 25th.
