Kamloops swimmer Cameron Chambers nabs three medals at Canada Summer Games

WINNIPEG, MA — Cameron Chambers took bronze in the 50 freestyle at the Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg on Friday.

Chambers took three medals at the games, winning silver in the 50 and 100 metre backstroke events.

On the water Michael Lanyon from the Kamloops Canoe/Kayak Club and the B.C. team took the consolation final over New Brunswick in the K-4 200.

B.C. did not make the top five in the heats to qualify for the medal round.
