KAMLOOPS — The Martin Mountain wildfire remained stable for most of Thursday, holding at 150 hectares and not moving.

However, the fire has already destroyed at least one home, and CFJC Today has video of what used to be Shane Robertson and Tobin Stuart's home in Monte Lake. The couple has a 2-year-old and 4-month-old daughter.

Friend Alexis Brenner set up a GoFundMe page for the family, and that has reached its goal of $10,000 in less than 24 hours. Robertson's brother, Adrian Conradi, says they have been overwhelmed by the support of the community and strangers who have stepped forward and donated.
