Better weather for air travellers, but air quality still a problem

KAMLOOPS — Should be a better day for air travellers today.

After several cancellations yesterday, the skies are much clearer this morning, and all flights are reported on time so far.

Yesterday morning, a number of flights had to be cancelled because of the low ceiling in Kamloops.

Pilots didn't feel comfortable landing, and a number of passengers were forced to cancel their flights.

So far the air quality isn't any better, though.

The index is at 7 this morning, that's high risk, and it's expected to stay that way all day.

Wildfire situation remains fluid as more help arrives
