Evacuation ordered for McCarthy Lake area north of Little Fort

MCCARTHY LAKE, B.C. — An evacuation order is in effect for homes in the McCarthy Lake area north of Little Fort.

The TNRD says rapidly moving wildfires in the Little Fort area are posing a threat on the properties.

Properties ordered to leave immediately are:

• 2357 to 3141 Auldgirth Rd

• 285 Bradshaw Rd

• 1939 to 3085 Dunn Lake Rd

• 60, 61 Emery Rd

• 2560 to 2790 McCarthy Creek Rd
