SALMON ARM, B.C. — A Lower Mainland man died in a drowning  on Shuswap Lake over the long weekend.

RCMP were called to a campground on Sunday where a 37 year old Surrey man who was on vacation had gone missing while swimming in a designated swim area.

An RCMP Underwater Team recovered the man’s body from the lake Monday.

Police are not releasing what part of the lake the incident occurred, or the name of the campground.
